Best Eats: Parma

For those following my Instagram you will know that I just spent an amazing two weeks eating my way though Italy with Nadja.
We did five cities in two weeks by train which I can highly recommend. The fast trains in Italy are great, so clean, super speedy and comfortable.

Graduation Celebrations

I did it!

Dinner at LaSalle

Yesterday I had the pleasure of having dinner at LaSalle in Zürich.

The restaurant was built inside a glass cube which is inside an old ship making factory (‘Schiffbau’). The interior is very simple and modern with a stunning chandelier in the middle of the restaurant. The food has it’s roots in Italian and French cuisine and the menu is updated with the seasons.

There is also a bar with a countless variety of alcohols and a ‘Stammtisch’ (a 8.4m long communal table) at LaSalle. Once the weather warms up their terrace is a great place to have a late afternoon apéro or dinner.

This week in food

My boyfriend was away this week so I was cooking for one which is only half as fun as cooking for two. As you often end up making the same quantities as for two (at least I do) I ate the same thing two days in a row but did try to vary it up a little.
