Homemade Müsli

I can kind of see a trend with my blog posts since I’ve been back.
A lot more recipes!

But anything food related is good no?

Anyway, I decided to give making my own müsli a shot and used a recipe from Jamie Oliver’s 15-Minute Meals book as guideline.
It’ll give you roughly 1,5 kg of müsli.

L.AlexandraIngredients:
(Use this as guideline but add/substitute/change any of the ingredients as you like)
♦ 100g peeled almonds
♦ 100g pumpkin seeds
♦ 100g sunflower seeds
♦ 100g sesame seeds
♦ 500g oats
♦ 40g (or more for a stronger taste) desiccated coconut
♦ 1 tsp cinnamon
♦ 200g dried apricots
♦ 150g dried blueberries
♦ 175g dried cranberries

As my nuts and seeds were all already in small pieces I didn’t have to do any grinding, chopping or anything.
Mix together the seeds, nuts, oats, coconut and cinnamon and place on a baking tray.
Roast it at 180°C until the oats are a nice golden colour. But don’t forget to mix it around every now and then.
Roasting it gives it a great flavour.
Once it’s cooled down add the dried fruits.
L.AlexandraMix it all together and store in an airtight container.

Enjoy with milk, yoghurt, quark, maple syrup, fresh fruits etc.
I like to add a little extra coconut to mine.
